I became really awful at blogging in 2011, and I am hoping to rectify this in 2012. Blame tumblr for my absence! I much prefer its immediacy to blogger. I have very few followers or commenters on this blog, whereas on tumblr I have over 1000 followers, but I do want to post more in 2012.

Some of my favourite photos from this year...

There were so many great moments in 2011, I got to meet and shoot with some models I have admired for a long time, may it continue in 2012!

Charlotte Rutherford

I feel like I start every blog lately with an apology about how bad I am at blogging, but I am, tumblr is just so much easier and more immediate to use, and blogger always seems to eat my blog entries when I have spent a lot of time writing them, so I get frustrated and won't rewrite them then lol.

So, on to the actual blog. Charlotte Rutherford is a photographer I have admired for a long time, she is so young, and so talented, and as it turns out, she is super beautiful as well. Between seeing her self portraits and seeing Stuart Mitchell take photos of her, I just had to shoot her. And then when it turned out that she lives in Norwich I was thrilled, and I was even happier when she said yes to shooting with me! We started talking about shooting a spread for Alt Fashion magazine who had let me plan the autumn centre spread with just the theme of 'gothic' and 'autumn' to inspire me, perfect! Charlotte put me in touch with amazing makeup artistic Amii-Rose Steward and I started getting in touch with designers. Sadly, the designer gave me all kinds of issues. She was all excited to work with me, even helped me cast Charlotte as the model after I gave her a choice of models, and then she just stopped talking to me about a month before the shoot. I was thoroughly disappointed and still haven't recieved an apology as to why she suddenly wasn't interested. She is pretty well known on tumblr and she has lost customers because of this. Thankfully, the amazing Roswell Ivory came to the rescue and made us some pasties to replace the ones that never arrived.

The actual shoot day was so much fun, Charlotte and Amii are lovely girls and I think we made a great team.

We also shot a bunch of different head shots once we knew we had the shots for the magazine spread.

Doesn't Charlotte have a stunning face? I loved taking photos of her and have already shot with her again once more since then :) and heres to many more!

Maxine Ashleigh

I have been talking to Maxine Ashleigh online for years, probably a good 5 years. I followed her on deviantart and was a big fan of her striking looks, so it was wonderful to finally get to meet her and shoot! She is a really lovely gal, and she joined zivity too, so bonus!

The lovely Maja Stina came and did makeup for us and I took a couple of snaps of them posing together that I still need to edit.

First up, gorgeous jewellery and dress from Maxine's company Little Miss Delicious, and a hair flower from Lady Hollywood. I never really use a reflector on shoots as I have no one to hold one, but with Maja's help I realised how useful they are, I so need an assistant! I love Maxine's hair so much. Next up Maja had brought some of her gorgeous latex from her company Burning Violet with her, and we shot that with another Lady Hollywood hair flower. Love having this piano to hand! This is also a full set on zivity here http://www.zivity.com/models/maxineashleigh/photosets/1

Finally, we shot some super bright flash photos that were perfect for the blue hair/red lipstick combination. The pizza necklace and burger earrings are from Little Miss Delicious, and the hair flower and glasses necklace are from Lady Hollywood. I so need that pizza necklace! Beatrix Von Bourbon

Every now and then someone on tumblr or formspring will ask me who my 'wishlist' models are. There are some I always list, people like London Andrews, Rachel Dashae, Porcelain, Shakti and a few others. One I always name, is burlesque performer Beatrix Von Bourbon. I saw her perform at the first burlesque night I ever attended back in 2006 in Grimsby, and she was incredible. I loved her tattoos, her sense of fun, and she seemed like a lovely person. I later saw her perform in Nottingham at an art exhibition in 2007ish and she performed an act entirely on ballet boots which is always impressive. I was utterly thrilled when to my surprise, Beatrix tweeted at me that she should had seen my tumblr and would love to shoot, queue squealing with delight!

We quickly organised a shoot and Beatrix came up to Norwich with a fantastic selection of goodies to shoot. She makes her own costumes and wanted to document a new costume for a new act called 'Smoke'. It was something different for me and quite a challenge to shoot. We walked around some woodland for a while to find the perfect spot to shoot with Beatrix spotted a large tree stump, and when I say large, over 6 ft tall. Within minutes Beatrix had climbed the tree and decided that was the spot! I was impressed enough when she climbed the tree, never mind climbing it again in a floor length gown and heels, especially given that it had started to rain. We spent time experimenting with the motion of the gown and finally got what we wanted and I was very pleased with the results. It is not often I get to shoot with someone who is such a perfectionist and who is bringing their own ideas to the table so it was a great change!

We attracted the attention of some PSCO's who seemed to think we were shooting something naughty. While yes, we did want to get some naughtier shots, Beatrix was fully dressed when they found us! So sadly scuppered our other plans for a set there, but it was chucking it down by that point so we went back to my flat to shoot another quick set there with a fantastic boa type creation Beatrix had made that will feature in an act at some point.

It was a pleasure to shoot Beatrix and I hope I get the chance to again.

Maja Stina II

I shot with Maja Stina very quickly again after our first shoot. I loved her slightly awkward sense of posing and her striking face, and she is a lot of fun to boot, perfect!

There is an awful story about being caught shooting in this empty room with Maja half naked in the block of flats I live in by a neighbour and a locksmith who turned out to be a foot fetishist who reeeally wanted us to give him a call. I'll pretty much leave it at that! First set we shot was for zivity.com for their Bettie Page contest. Maja has her own latex company Burning Violet and made a custom outfit for the shoot based on this image, how fab is that!

Next up we shot an art nude set with my precious Lensbaby. I haven't been using my Lensbaby anywhere near as much as I like to lately, so I must get back to that.

I am super behind on blogging, but I really will try to catch up at some point :S

Katana Foxx IV

Katana Foxx lives right around the corner from me and is always a lot of fun to shoot with, she is a real sweetheart, has some adorable pets, and one of the best bums/legs I've ever seen. And I have seen a lot of bums. She is also a model who lets me experiment and shoot really different things which I love! We recently shot for the 4th time and got two rather different zivity sets out of it.

First up we shot for an Ellen Von Unwerth themed contest. I love her work so had to enter, I particularily enjoy that she uses some motion in her work as its something I like to do too.

Maja Stina

Recently I had been planning a playdate with another photographer and a model, and we decided we needed a second model. Maja Stina was suggested and I immediately said yes. I then decided I couldn't wait to shoot with her, so we went ahead and booked an earlier shoot so we could get started! I absolutely love Maja's face, she is so striking and beautiful. As it turns out, she is also a really multi-talented lady and she runs her own latex company Burning Violet who we shot for. I was also super thrilled that Maja decided to join zivity, and she is doing really well!

We shot several different sets which are all now live on zivity, first up we shot what started out as a black and white fashion set, and descended into more of a strip. Tamara-Marie take 5

Tamara-Marie was one of the very first models I ever worked with that I met online, and we are still shooting as much as we can to this day. Last time we worked together we shot in her studio, so this time we met in the middle at my parents house and went out on location. We shot three different sets, all will be up on zivity.

The first shot we set goes up on zivity tomorrow and is called 'Burn'. it's a location art nude set shot in some woodland I regularily used when I lived up north. It has changed drastically, the harsh winter had pretty much killed it, there was so little greenery, I am honestly not sure if or when it will recover back to its former beauty in the future, it looked like some sort of apocalyptic wasteland.

Next up went to play on the beach for a zivity set for the 'Food' contest. We had figured a lot of people would be going for bananas and syrup glamour shoots, so wanted to shoot something totally different. Finally, the lovely Samantha Lyann joined us for a final set to do awesome hair and makeup. Our first shoot together involved the three of us, so it was fantastic to get the old team back together. Clayre McKinnen take 4

I got to shoot with Clayre McKinnen again recently, for what sadly, looks like it will have been the last time. She and her husband moved to Portugal about two weeks after this shoot, I will sorely miss her, every shoot was so much fun and she is a true artist! I hope one day our paths will cross again.

We shot three sets, the first of which we went for a vintage sort of look, with a bit of flashing, because thats what we do best together!

Next up we visited some local ruins and shot against the walls of this old building. It was very pretty is a little sharp, and given that Clayre was the scantily clad barefoot one, I still managed to cut myself instead!

Last up we shot a pretty nude set in Clayre's bedroom with my Lensbaby and its soft focus optic. It was the first time I had used this lens and I think its effect worked really well with these.

Thank you Clayre, for making time to see me before you moved, I miss you!

Joanne Jayne

I was really happy when Joanne Jayne contacted me asking to shoot, I had seen photos of her around for a while and was fascinated by her look, such amazing lips, eyes and curves! Of course I said yes. I travelled down to London the night before the shoot to stay with her (not something I normally do, but I was pretty certain she wasn't going to murderise me), we ate pizza and watched Die Hard and had a girly sleepover :) next morning we got to shooting! Joanne had been awesome and got gone and gotten us some film for my fujifilm instax so we shot a mix of digital and film which is always great fun, and shot so many photos that I love.

Can I also say how awesome it is to shoot a curly haired lady? I don't get to shoot enough girls with curly hair, as a curly girly myself I love it, the bigger the better :D

And this shot, an inbetween moment when Joanne didn't realise I was still taking her photo.

Hopefully we will shoot again in the summer.

Deanna Deadly

If you have followed me for a little while, you might remember that back in October 2009 I flew to Chicago for a holiday with my family and shot with Deanna Deadly while I was there. We clicked super well, and chat all the time, so when Deanna announced that she wanted to come to England she had to come stay with me! We mostly have lots of wifely touristy adventures, explored the castle here in Norwich, went to awesome pubs and dyed our hair a lot. We did also shoot 3 kick ass sets :)

First up we shot a zivity set called 'Cherry' for Little Rubber Cherry latex and Alt Noir magazine.

Next up more Little Rubber Cherry, this time with added leopard print bed ;)

and finally, what would happen if Minnie Mouse liked death rock? Well, this is the answer hehe.

I had so so much fun having Deanna visit and miss her loads, I am determined to save up and somehow find some money so I can go back to Chicago and see her again.

Peggy Soo Two Part Two

The second part of my shoot with Peggy Soo! We shot another gorgeous outfit from Fetasia Latex that I felt suited a more spooky haunting look, so off we went to my favourite woodland!

We shot a really bright and silly set, clashing the orange of Peggy's hair with the pink of these awesome tights I had hanging about. We got a bit silly shooting this, and in fact ended up calling the zivity set 'Baberaham Lincoln' because well... you can see why haha.

The last set we shot was a more casual 'This is England' style set that was Peggy's real style. All these photos will be up on zivity soon!

Peggy Soo Two Part One

You guys might remember my gushing blog about Peggy Soo when we first shot together last year (see it here), we very quickly booked shoot number 2. Peggy has a new amazing hair colour since we last shot, in fact, I am planning to dye my hair orange now because of her haha. We had an amazing pizza and movie feast the night before the shoot then were up and shooting at 10am for a full day :D awesome! The first set we shot was Peggy's first ever nude set. It is always a privilege when a model asks me to shoot those photos for her and I think we picked a great way to shoot them. These are a full set on zivity.com called 'I miss you' which was for a contest. Peggy wore no makeup and we wanted them to be as natural and pretty as possible.

We shot a bunch of sets, including some gorgeous latex by Fetasia Latex in several sets, we shot some really arty blurry photos, and then shot the same amazing top again in another set for a zivity contest with a 'Water' theme, this set is 'Tangerine'. We had so much fun shooting this, throwing water everywhere haha.

Miss Pixie Cakes III

The final I set I shot with Pixie involved her wearing some gorgeous latex (from Lady Lucie I believe). This is an upcoming zivity set too :) I am having a phase lately of loving either super bright photos or a bit too dark photos, I get bored if I shoot in a similar style too often. Of course I really should share a photo of her infamous butt!

I fell in love with this outfit from Little Rubber Cherry, and immediately knew where I wanted to shoot it with Roswell Ivory. I am really lucky to live in a new block of flats, built onto an old block that is all joined together, this amazing staircase is in the front foyer and I love to use them, they provide such great possibilites! While we were shooting these a guy stood and watched the whole time, never said a word, even when Roswell was being really naughty hehe :)

I love shooting with my Lensbaby, and this gorgeous dress by Little Rubber Cherry, combined with this location and fab modelling by Roswell Ivory was the perfect chance to use it. I've been a bit slack in using it lately due to shooting for so many designers who it hadn't felt appropriate to use with, but I am definitely planning on correcting that!

Roswell Ivory and the Lotus Elise

I recently got to shoot with Roswell Ivory for the third time. I absolutely love shooting with her, she really pushes me to be a better photographer. She has such a high standard of work in her portfolio that I put alot of pressure on myself to really perform, just what I want :D

We shot for Alt Fashion magazine, using some gorgeous outfits by Little Rubber Cherry. And we were lucky enough to shoot with a gorgeous Lotus Elise (as a car person, miaw!) loved it :D We had no idea where we could find a road to shoot this on, so we used google maps to try and find a teensy lane. We found one, drove out to it and it was perfect! Literally right after we finished shooting a van drove past and Roswell had to dive into my car, topless and in those heels haha!

Hattie Watson III

This is the final set that I shot with Hattie Watson when I visited her on her trip to London. They are my favourites from the day I think! They are part of a zivity set called 'Bookworm' that you can see here (if you are a member) http://www.zivity.com/models/Watson/photosets/7

I was really happy with the lighting in this set. Late last year the bulb in my one light that I have blew, and as it turns out, they don't make them anymore so I can't replace it. I've been left with no lighting now, which sucks, but is forcing me to be rather creative. And also desperately save up for a new set of lights (which is going not so well). These sets were shot with the available light in the room, and a lamp which had one part pointing up, and one part that was flexible so I could move it and light Hattie how I wanted, perfect!

Hattie has mentioned coming back to London, I can only hope! <3

Hattie Watson recently came over to England for a month or so, and I was lucky enough to shoot with her. I cannot recommend her enough, had so much fun and Hattie is such a lovely and fun girl. She turns into the uber vamp in front of the camera, it was so hard picking what to edit! We shot three different sets for zivity.com and I'm gonna make a seperate blog for each! None of these are live yet so these are sneaky previews!

First set we shot was a fun black and white set with Hattie rolling around on the bed in the place we shot. Hattie really wanted to shoot in her tube socks, so we picked out this cute jumper and couldn't think of anything to go with it. So she just wore that hehe

first shoot of 2011

My first shoot of 2011 was with the lovely Katana Foxx. This is our third shoot together, she lives just round the corner from me so its always lovely to have a good catch up (we always spend much too long nattering hehe) and shooting! She took me to an awesome location for the first two sets, an abandoned series of farm buildings that have just been left to decay, so gorgeous. Some of them have been covered in graffiti which I always think is quite sad, I love the natural decay of buildings and it takes away from them for me. Kat has gorgeous skin, really pale and lovely so I get a bit carried away with close up shots some times hehe

These are all for zivity sets, the sepia set goes live tomorrow, the others are up now, 'Skin and Dereliction' is the nude colour location set, and 'Omnia Vanitas' is the bathroom mirror set :) I really love that bum shot!

Jessica Drue take 16

I am so behind on my blogs! Must make an effort to catch us as I am still posting shoots from last year *naughty kitty* This was actually my last shoot of 2010, it seemed fitting that both my first and last shoots of the year would be with Jessica Drue who I have worked with drastically more than any other model, this is about shoot 16 :)

On the day of our last shoot, it had snowed all night and left us with a wonderful white woodland. Jess knows me well enough that she planned a snow outfit immediately.... Jess's snow outfit however was lingerie haha, the brave thing! We shot a set for zivity called 'Coffee and Snow', I loved the contrast of Jess's skin with the snow :) I love this set, I think its one of the best we have shot together, check out zivity for the rest!

Tamara-Marie part III

And now for something completely different! I had never shot in a studio before this shoot, so while I had the option of shooting Tamara-Marie against the classic white backdrop, I decided against that and shot her against red. And shot her in a glamour set against red to boot!

This is part of a set called 'Snippity Snip' on zivity

And finally, our very favourite set 'Portrait of an English Rose'. It is our very favourite thing we have shot together and we are really proud of it. I think it shows how much we have both grown since our first shoot together when we were 18.

Tamara-Marie part II

Here are some more photos from my day shooting with Tamara-Marie at her studio for zivity. We shot so much and so quickly because we click really well together, can't wait for March and our next shoot! As it was my first time shooting in a studio I wanted to take full advantage of it using different light set ups, we shot a silly Christmas set for the zivity Christmas contest called 'The night before Christmas' which has become my most popular set ever! By more than double the votes, amazing :)

I also wanted to use this net curtain that Tamara can put up in her studio. A lot of photographers have used it before, but I wanted to shoot it in a different style, its purple so most people naturally leave it in colour, I went for something more vintage styled, the set is here called 'Sheer Secrets'

Tamara-Marie

I love Tamara-Marie. She was the first model I ever worked with that I met on the internet, and she is always so so much fun to shoot with. We have a brilliant time and shoot a lot and fast! I'm gonna make a couple of posts with photos from the sets so as not to make this entry too huge. We shot a bunch of zivity sets that are mostly all live now, so the names of the sets will take you to them!

First up is 'Blonde hair, pale skin and a corset' which we shot for the 'Bottomless' contest

And 'Stand Still, Look Pretty' which is for a current contest called 'Sing me a song'

I greatly enjoy the challenge of shooting for zivity contests, it pushes me to create something different that I might not usually create :)

This shoot was pretty major for me as it was my first time ever shooting in a studio, Tamara let me use whatever I wanted which was great fun, I got to be creative with lights for the first time ever! I really must get me some better lights.

Christmas.

I had a fab Christmas, despite the snow trying to scupper my best efforts, me and my boyfriend managed to get back to our home town so we could spend Christmas with our families and get to go to our favourite pub in the world. I was spoilt rotten by my family, lots of new Hello Kitty stuff and some new toys for my camera, namely the Diana lens and the soft focus adapter for my Lensbaby Composer, I can't wait to use them! Expect photos with then soon :)

I don't tend to get into the Christmas spirit much these days, I get kind of excited Christmas Eve and on the day itself, mostly because I absolutely adore giving people presents and I knew my boyfriend was gonna freak over his presents (and he did!). I got some amazing coffee table books I've wanted for a long time, namely Steve Diet Goedde's Beauty of Fetish volumes 1 and 2, and Viva Van Story's Viva's Pinups. They are totally stunning and I am thrilled to have them in my collection!

2010 has been a strange and new year, full of new things, new people, new styles and more. This was my first full year of living with my boyfriend, and living away from our families. It was my first full year in full time employment having finished uni in 2009. Here’s a little selection of 2010 moments

I photographed several models from my ‘wish list’ including Roswell Ivory, Clayre Mckinnen and Paradisaea.

I travelled to London several times for shoots, including an awesome long weekend away with Black Lotus.

I did several shoots in the snow.

I got a gorgeous kitty called Seven of Nine.

I had a front cover and several spreads in Alt Fashion magazine.

In every single month I was either published or worked with a clothing company.

I became a staff member of the wonderful Sublime Rush magazine, contributing both photography and writing.

I finally finished and released my ‘Simplicity’ project as a book in January.

I broke into the top 50 photographers on zivity and had my 100^th set published.

I hit over 200,000 pageviews to the main page of my deviantart account. I also had a Daily Deviation.

My laptop finally gave up the ghost and two amazing people bought me a new one simply because they like my photography. That is amazing.

I produced a 2011 calendar and have sent them as far away as Singapore.

I was published in What Digital Camera magazine, my first non-indy non-alt magazine.

I made some incredible new friends. They know who they are.

I worked with companies including Little Rubber Cherry, Cathouse Clothing, Creations by Liv Free, Amore de Mori, Boom Boom Baby corsets, Joy Williams, Lovechild Boudoir, Suicide Dreams, Kalandra Jade Designs and more.

On tumblr I have almost 600 followers, on twitter I have over 1000, and on facebook I have over 1500.

My photographic style changed drastically, I am much happier with what I am shooting now than I have ever been. In fact, there are photos I am still proud of a month or longer after taking them, that never happens with me.

I found out something totally awesome that I will be announcing in 2011, because while I found out about it in 2010, its happening in 2011 :P

I dyed my hair orange. Then purple.

I shot film for the first ever time.

I shot in a studio for the first ever time.

I acquired in various ways from gifts to purchases, at least 7 new cameras.

I broke several toes, skinned my knee, and finally had my back problems correctly diagnosed and *hopefully* cured. This has made an unbelievable difference to my life. To no longer be in constant pain is wonderful.

That’s all I can think of right now, but I think it’s pretty much everything major J 2010 was a good year for me.

Sailor Cherry

I recently photographer Sailor Cherry for Little Rubber Cherry (wh0 made the girdle and pasties), and Cathouse Clothing who made the latex hair piece. It was snowing the morning of the shoot so of course I decided we should shoot outside haha. I'm such a meanie, but I promise I had blankets at the ready and we shot quickly.

I can't post these on facebook due to them hating pasties so thought I should post them here, I particularily love the anonymous shot of the pasties and girdle, I had it in mind as soon as I saw the outfit.
I have more to edit of these but thanks to two days of ice pick headaches I am not enjoying being on the computer or even in the light, so I shall try again in a few days.

Roswell Ivory II

I was super thrilled when Roswell Ivory said she wanted to work with me again :) I loved shooting her with and loved what we shot, so was happy to get another chance to collaborate!

On the day of the shoot, we woke up to snow. My first thought was 'she has to be naked in the snow' and when I went to pick Roswell up she had already figured I might want that hehe. The snow wasn't really settling but it was bloody freezing! Roswell had made this amazing coat that she wanted to shoot, we couldn't find the location we were looking for originally, but we did find some pretty woodland that worked out lovely. Thankfully for Roswell the coat has a zip in the front as we kept getting interrupted by dog walkers haha, so it was a good job she could hide quick! The winter sunlight was wonderful, and apparently made the whole being naked thing surprisingly warm and pleasant :)

Roswell then spotted a field she wanted to shoot in, nude. However for the image she wanted to capture, she was going to literally have to run to the middle of the field stark naked so as to not get anything in the shot we didn't want. There was a little ditch to cross to get into the field, so Roswell stripped off, put blanket round and leapt over it, victory!

Then it was a case of giving me her shoes (brr!), ditching the towel, and running! We got the shots we wanted, Roswell ran back to me and got the blanket round her to literally seconds later have a family with kids and a helicopter show up haha. We were so lucky! Haha :D

We are already planning shoot 3 and I can't wait! It's gonna be awesome.

Alivya V Free IV

I absolutely adore shooting with Alivya. She's one of my very favourite models and I can't recommend her enough. Her hair and makeup skill is incredible, in fact you can hire her for these things here, shes wonderfully creative, she makes a lot of her own accessories for shoots and is always giving input on concepts and and it feels like a true collaboration when you shoot with her. Her posing and emotion in shots is second to none and best of all, she is so so much fun to shoot. I always end up with a ton of outtakes of her hehe. Also, best skin ever on a model!

Whenever we shoot we never have a specific idea of what we will do, in fact, we never have any idea of what we are going to do. Because Liv is so easy to shoot and ready to collaborate this doesn't matter, you will get amazing images. I guarantee it. We shot a whole set of fashion/conceptual outfits and images. We both started out with more goth and alt portfolios and I love seeing how we have both changed and grown as artists. I feel like I can experiment and learn everytime we shoot together and get something totally new.

For example, this shot has brown in it. I don't shoot brown haha.

Heres something really clean and fashion, unlike anything I have ever shot.

We shot a set with some amazing finger pieces Liv made. Afterwards we really had to laugh because I realised Liv was wearing a stripey jumper, so we had basically shot a high fashion Freddy Krueger haha.

Alivya made the incredible horns that feature in both of these sets.

Book Alivya. It's the best thing you'll do for your portfolio. I adore her.

Clayre McKinnen III

I recently had my third shoot with the lovely Clayre McKinnen. She's one of my favourite people to shoot with, we always have so much fun! One of the funniest things is her awesome pets, I have never seen a dog so excited to get dressed up as Roo-Dog was about being a pink dinosaur haha. He wanted to be in all the photos too the poser.

We shot a few different sets, first up some simple portraits lounging around in Clayre's bedroom, I love her eyes in this shot.
Next up we went on location and shot some black and whites (you can also see my new experiment in copyright text on this shot)

And finally some experimental blurry shots, I love this one :D

I will be so so sad when Clayre leaves the UK in March :(

Peggy Soo and Little Rubber Cherry

Not long ago I was messaged by new model Peggy Soo about organising a shoot. Normally when such a new model messages they aren't very serious about it, don't have any real idea of what to do and are rather cheeky expecting TF. However, Peggy had already messaged a designer (a fantastic one) and looked at travel possibilites etc as she would be coming quite a way and came across so well in the email that I had to say yes. They designer she had interest from was one I had been admiring since discovering a couple of weeks before. Little Rubber Cherry has some gorgeous designs, I am particularily happy to see a range of hoods in her designs as I am rather a fan of them!

Peggy arrived with a lovely selection of wigs, I so liked one of them, that I insisted on doing the styling of it for her for the shoot. Sort of modified victory rolls :) We went for fairly classic makeup to show off her awesomely pale skin. I had a location in mind for the shoot already, so when Peggy got out the dress I knew it would match it. I fell in love with the dress, the combination of latex and lace is stunning and something I hadn't seen before.

We set off to the location (with a blanket and dressing gown in tow as it was looking like a typical autumn day) but it proved to be quite a pleasant temperature which is always good! Peggy was a lot of fun to shoot, her skin is fab, I wish I was the pale, shes very professional but certainly knows how to have a good giggle too. I think her face allows for real elegance in shots, and she can look super cheeky if she wants to as well. She's doing really well for herself and it is her dedication and hard work paying off! I'm really happy with what we got and I think Peggy and Cherry are too yay :)

I'm shooting some more of Cherry's designs in a couple of weeks and I'm looking forward to seeing what she has come up with. And I would certainly work with the lovely Peggy again :)

Black Lotus in London

Back in October me and Black Lotus went on a trip to London for four days :) People that know us at all will know that we love each other to bits and often have soppy/perverted lovefests on twitter haha. I've put a couple of snapshots from my iPhone in here too, I'm the blonde. Most of the time in London was spent hiding from the rain in coffee shops, and we spent 8 hours in a pub one day despite both being teetotal haha. It was soo much fun. We also managed to shoot a couple of sets as well :D Both are now live on zivity

I have been a long time fan of Aiko's photography and modelling and we have been chatting for years, so when she mentioned coming up to Norwich for a visit I was thrilled she wanted to shoot. Her style is amazing so I knew she would bring awesome outfits and that we could shoot fashion, which is something I am desperately trying to get more of in my portfolio. We shot two different sets both of which I love :D so here are some photos! The first set we shot in some local woodland and I played about with some motion again :)

Next up, moustaches and androgyny :D

I already can't wait to shoot with Aiko again, shes amazing. We went out for dinner after our shoot and had a great time just chatting and stuffing our faces haha.

I am rubbish and I totally forgot to blog more about my shoot with Essjay. I always try to shoot more 'fashion' images with her than people usually let me. Here a some extra portraits.

And heres the photo that was on the cover of Alt Fashion with Essjay wearing Sacre Coeur Adornments.They edited it slightly for the cover I think, either that or the printer changed the colour toning to it.

Jessica Drue, take 15

I shot with Jessica Drue again :D haha, shes like a drug and I can't resist. We shot a set for the zivity polaroid contest and a couple of portraits. The zivity set was shot on fujifilm instax in my hallway outside my flat haha, I'm such a pro.

Instax is becoming one of my favourite things to shoot with, just wish it wasn't so expensive and that my scanner worked, I keep going back to visit my Mum and using hers haha!

We'd originally intended to go on location but due to me falling down a flight of stairs and breaking my big toe and the one next to it on my left foot this meant no driving as I could hardly walk. Two weeks later I am still limping like crazy. Being allergic to ibuprofen has never sucked so much. We plan to re shoot the concept for the portraits on location, we know exactly what we have in mind so expect photos from that soon!
We shot this in the secret weird room in my flat complex, I'm sure they don't mind the flour we sort of rubbed into the floor and left haha... well.... I couldn't get it in my carpet!

Always lots of fun to shoot with Jess and always the best time. Its great knowing you have a model who is always happy to shoot whatever crazy and daft idea you have.

I'm one of those people who always wishes they had their camera with them and always got irritated when I found I didn't have it. Thanks to the hipstamatic app on my iPhone I now finally have a camera to take everywhere, a modern day lomo!

I love being able to get little snapshots of life and not have to lug about my huge camera :D my kitties to get annoyed though haha!

Lolly comes to visit.

My little brother recently came down to visit me for this first time (it took us almost a year of me living here to organise it haha!) and he bought one of our oldest friends and one of my early models Lolly with him. We shot a quick set in their hotel room and these are the results. I wanted them to be a casual sort of glamour.

This outtake really makes me laugh, I don't know who looks more of a perv, Lloyd for looking, or Lolly for loving it haha!

I also shot Lolly for a new project I'm working on called 'Sleep', I'll see where this one takes me but I like the concept and series I have in mind.

The Super Old Photos.

I recently went through my deviantart gallery to tidy it up as its far too big and found a bunch of old photos I'd forgotten about, I figured I'd share some for the lols haha :D the one at the top there is from my very first photoshoot! Literally days after I got a camera.

This lot includes a photo from the first ever model I worked with from modelmayhem, photos of my boyfriend, a photo of a girl who has since revealed she is a kick ass singer and I hope to see her do really well, photos taken in my uni dorm room, and photos of a guy from my performance studies A level class. Haha :D I have some more I may share soon.

Roswell Ivory.

I am a huge fan of Roswell Ivory, she has the most amazing face and figure and I've long internet-stalked her, so when she messaged me about a shoot I leapt at the chance! It was great fun, turns out we are both sci fi nerds (even though I don't like the Matrix :P) and she bought me an ice cream. This makes Roswell even more awesome. We shot a few different sets, even venturing out to a local park where we got no hassle at all, just a few looks which was neat, where I used to live I used to get such hassle on location shoots! For these Roswell wore a wig and hid her beautiful hair, and wore my custom tentacle necklace that Once made me.

This one is a bit different from my usualo style, more PS than usual and a bit more dramatic but I like it, I like to prove to myself that I can do things differently.Then it was time for my beloved Lensbaby Composer to come out (with blue tones of course!) I love the contrast of Roswell's hair against her pale skin.

And then for some of my newer more experimental style with more movement filled black and whites.
I love being able to experiment with models, and I especially love it when someone as incredible as Roswell gives me a chance, so thank you lovely! You were everything I imagined and more (haha I know, I'm such a fan girl!)

Jessica Drue, take 14

Can you believe we've worked together 14 times? Damn do I love shooting with this girl so so much. Jessica Drue is a wonderful model and a wonderful human being too. We shot this set on a quick afternoon when she came up to Norwich for her graduation (she has a degree in translation, I know, super hot and intelligent, and she speaks other languages!). The outfit was Jess's idea, we had to change the original location thanks to a pervy postman who wouldn't leave us alone and I am so glad we did, cause I love these and I know Jess does too :D
This style is quickly becoming one of my new favourites :D This will be a set on zivity in September :)

Black Lotus II part II

I sometimes take photos that I love that I just cannot decide how to edit. An example of this is a set I took of Black Lotus back at the end of May/early June. I edited them 5 different ways before I decided what I wanted to do with them! These will be part of a full set on zivity in the coming months :) Heres an example of two different versions of the same photo, I went with the top version, much better!

Jessica Drue, take 13.

The best thing about shooting with Jessica Drue is that I can do the craziest things. Shes so happy for me to experiment with her, and she always loves how things turn out. We like to joke that she lets me get all my 'arty farty'-ness out haha, and its true, I test out so many new things on her before I do them with other models because I know she trusts me, and if it goes wrong, she won't mind :)

These are from our 13th session together, and our last before she moved away from Norwich to London *sad face*. We had about 40 minutes together, and Jess had just a simple tube top dress and red lipstick with her. So I took Alan the mannequins loose arm (yes, I name my mannequins, and yes, I have multiple mannequins haha) and gave it to her, we went into the hallway outside of my flat, and we shot this. All natural light, and other than slight colour adjustments, all in camera.

Clayre Mckinnen II

I recently got to shoot with the lovely Clayre Mckinnen again :) my work changed my days off last minute so I dropped her an email and it turned out she was free, yay. When you get to Clayre's, she always comes out and meets me and it always makes me smile, her accent and her warm personality make her so brilliant to shoot!

I took along my Fujifilm Instax which I have some scans of, and also we shot a roll of 35mm film on my Diana Mini but I haven't been able to get that developed yet, I hate lack of pennies! Clayre has sent her husband the scans of the instax, hes in the American Military so has been away for a long time and I am so pleased I could help make him smile!

I always end up with lots of photos of Clayre smiling because we giggle alot when we shoot, the best kind of shoot!

I already can't wait to get to shoot with Clayre again.

Instant Film

My wonderful Nanna recently bought me a Fujifilm Instax camera :D my Nanna rules. She had one of my calendars in her kitchen the other year even though it was full of nudity, and has a pile of all the magazines I've been in on her couch to show people. She rules like that. I've finally managed to scan in some copies of the film, I have a scanner myself but had stupidly deleted the software for it from my laptop haha, so I need to reinstall it!

So here is the lovely Essjay, instax style! I smudged makeup on her to make daft kitty whiskers lol.

Black Lotus III

I know I know, I've been fairly rubbish at posting lately. Been trying to catch up on my editing and have been preparing the flat for a new arrival, my new kitty Seven! I shall of course no doubt post photos of her soon once she is more warmed to us :)

So, I thought I should post some more photos of Black Lotus from the adventure to ASYLUMseventy7's place. With ASYLUM being great at bondage ties, and him having a pair of crutches, the obvious thought was to tie Black Lotus to said crutches hehe :D

I also then pinched and modified a lighting set up that John Mcintire had just used to shoot a semi-Shakespeare inspired set hehe.

These will of course be full sets on zivity that will go live over the coming months :D

I can't recommend Black Lotus enough. Shes a total sweetheart, and willing to throw herself into all sorts of crazy situations and possibly-injury-inducing poses to get the shots you want. I loves her. Go book her!

Wheelchairs, amputees and old factories.

Bonnie makes me shoot the most messed up stuff :D She has several wheelchairs and really want to shoot some amputee photos in her old art studio factory before it got knocked down, so of course, I obliged.

Her legs are just tucked under her, I posted these on tumblr and people freaked out, promise, Bonnie is still all in one pretty piece!

Taxidermy

I've long been debating taxidermy with myself. I have been vegetarian for over 10 years, I do not wear leather, or shoot it, but I am aware that alot of taxidermists make a huge effort to be ethical about acquiring their animals parts for their work. I personally know Bonnie from Amore de Mori, she uses road kill, have links with pet stores and exterminators, and truly adores animals. In fact, this weekend even I found some rabbit skulls whilst shooting in a field so brought them back for her to use. So after debating this with myself for a long time I decided that in Bonnie's case, I would love to shoot her work. Knowing her as I do, and knowing how she gets the means to make her art, and how she feels she is honouring the animals, it was a privilege to get to shoot her amazing work.

Of course, that isn't to say that I would shoot for any taxidermist, there are those that would use animals deliberately killed for no reason and in awful ways.

So, here is Miss Cobweb wearing Amore de Mori, Boom! Boom! Baby wrist cuffs/neckpiece/corset with hair and makeup by Sherrie Sparkles.

Woke up to a Daily Deviation on deviantart.com today. Basically it means that one of my photos is featured on the front page of the site all day, its been up for about 5 hours so far and over 3000 people have looked at it :D

I recently got to shoot the lovely Miss Cobweb for Alt Fashion Magazine. We managed to get a full team together, with Boom! Boom! Baby, Amore de Mori, Once, and hair and makeup by Sherrie Sparkles. We shot in the amazing factory that Boom Boom and Amore de Mori used to have studios in. Sadly it has since been knocked down, such a shame, it was an amazing location!

eyes and insecurity.

It is thundering outside, and I am sad today. In my last blog I mentioned that ASYLUMseventy7 had taken photos of me for his photographer project. I love the photos, they aren't making me sad at all, they rock, but its how ASYLUMseventy7 somehow managed to get inside my own insecurities in that photo that is getting to me today.

I am a very insecure woman, this may seem ironic given that I spend my time photographing beautiful woman but I see it as my mission in art to make the world and the people in it beautiful, as cliched as that may sound. I think that everyone is beautiful, and I truly do think this, unless they are ugly on the inside, then that negates their outer beauty.

I am a large girl, I know this, this is something in my appearance that I have control of, so this does not bother me so much. However, its the parts of me that I like, that are gradually changing in ways that distress me that I am sad about.

That part of me, is my eyes. I like my eyes, they are green, and often very bright green in a way you don't often see. I have always played them up, over accentuated them and used eyeliners and eyeshadows to make them look even more green. At university strangers would notice when I changed my eyemakeup to something more simple, so was my notoreity about my elaborate eyes.

It is obvious that my eyes are very important to me, without them I would not be able to create my art. I suffer from very severe allergies, and when I was younger in particular they were terrible, I was on steroids for them for years and they took over my life. The part of me that was affected in the worst way was my eyes. To this day I still suffer because of them. My eyelids are much heavier and thicker than a normal person because the underside of them is heavily scarred, when I was younger there was great concern that my own eyelids would scratch my corneas but thankfully, that hasn't happened so far. I should no longer have to fear going blind like I once did. Once your eyelids swell, it is incredibly hard for them to return to normal, its why very old people often have to have operations on their eyelids to allow them to see. My eyelids are like this already. They block my pupils to the point that light can't enter them properly and my pupils have becme 'freakishly large' according to my optician. ASYLUMseventy7 had me pose to force my eyelids open, without knowing me he tapped into my biggest insecurity. I think this is part of his talent, he, whether aware of it or not, knows our own psyche and accesses it in his art.

My eyelids will need an operation. They are getting worse. Today I realised that I can no longer even wear a simple line of eye liner on my upper lid without drawing attention to the excess tissue there. I do not wear eyeshadow for fear of people staring, people I work with have commented on my 'weird eyelids' and not realised the distress it causes me. When it comes to your eyes, its the part of you that everyone sees, that part of you that an artist needs, the part of me the world stares into.

Into The ASYLUM

This weekend I took advantage of the bank holiday and made the trip back up north to go visit family and also to do something I've been meaning to do for ages, finally get to meet the genius behind ASYLUMSeventy7. When I realised he was shooting with Black Lotus the weekend I was back up North we cheekily decided I would come visit and shoot with her too. And to top it all off, John McIntire ended up coming along too after learning of our plan, brilliant!

It was a fantastic day, so much fun and ASYLUM and John are such lovely guys, I'd definetly recommend them to any models who are looking for photographers to shoot with. And Black Lotus was epic as always, she does the craziest poses (and willingly does the daft things I ask her to do haha). We absolutely must do it again sometime soon.

There was lots of tea drunk (Black Lotus runs on the stuff, I swear her blood is 80% tea) and biscuits and pizza. And even more giggles, all shoots should be this much fun, in between all the giggles and watching The IT Crowd me and Black Lotus managed to shoot 4 or 5 sets for zivity :)

Honest, this isn't nearly as inappropriate as I shot it to look haha. I'm a meanie and more outtakes will follow ;) thats ASYLUM tying Black Lotus up, and I purposely gave her the giggles to get this shot teehee!

One of the things I was determined to do was to get ASYLUM to tie Black Lotus up for me, hes a great rigger and as I suck at rope ties I just had to take advantage! He very kindly let me raid his props and use his lights too so thank you lovely!

I also of course had to use my Lensbaby. It ended up being the first thing I used after my camera had a bizarre attack of shyness and decided the only aperture it could do was 0, which is thankfully what the Lensbaby is set to in camera as you use little discs to physically change the aperture in front of the lens. After a set shot with that my camera returned to normal and the panic was over, phew!

Jessica Drue is also a kick ass belly dancer, so we decided to shoot a set of her in her belly dancing outfit. While we were shooting this a bunch of school girls came past and took photos of Jess on their mobiles haha, I wonder who they thought we were? This will be part of a full set on zivity called 'Tribal Fusion'.... thank goodness the school girls didn't come past a bit later on when Jess started removing parts of this outfit hehe.

the played all of these on that day, it was the first time I’d heard the James Blunt song. I can’t listen to the song at all. Nothing Compares 2 U was you and your boyfriends song, it was his birthday that you were taken on, that breaks my heart most of all. Dolly is one of my greatest loves, I was so thankful to have that comfort. When Prince came on, my mother told me that it was my song. That killed me. You were so young to be taken from everyone who loved you. 17 is no age to die.

It has been five years but I will never ever forget all the amazing things you showed me, and taught me. Thank you. I am planning a memorial tattoo to you, I will have it by this time next year.

Jessica Drue, take 11.

Once again, the wonderful Jessica Drue returns :) This time for adventures with the Lensbaby Composer in the room we had shot in the week before which my landlord had left open hehe.
First up is an abstract shot, threw the composer totally out of focus, someone said this shot was very 'Vulcan', as a Star Trek fan I so approve of that description!
Jess had bought over this super cute dress and in a great coincidence, the curtains in the room we used were almost the exact same colours :) I love it when things like that happen!

Someone on DA told me to stop using motion blur for fashion shots and wouldn't believe me that I used a Lensbaby for these, I love my Lensbaby and use it all the time!

Jessica Drue, take 10

As you know, I love shooting with Jessica Drue and consider her to be my muse. Sadly she is abandoning me and moving to London mid-June so till then we are shooting as much as possible, this was our tenth shoot together. Last week when we shot we took some photos that we both are absolutely in love with and are so proud of :)

We planned to shoot in the entrance to the block of flats I live in and while we were shooting we found a really bizarre room that was open. It wasn't a flat, just a big room with a gorgeous window, a desk, and a chair in it. Nothing else. So we did what any photographer-muse duo would do on a shoot and shot in it haha :D

I am so happy with the composition of this shot, it worked out so perfectly how the room and hallway were laid out.

And I love the emotion in this one, I think the 'heart' spines on the latex top really add something (its from HMS Latex btw who are all kinds of awesome).

I love Meat Loaf. Alot. So when I read about zivity's 'Red Hoods' contest I knew we had to shoot something inspired by the opening poem to Meat Loaf's 'You took the words right out of my mouth'.

On tuesday night we shot one of my favourite sets yet. We'd been intending to shoot a little red riding hood set for a zivity contest but lost day light before we got to the location so it didn't work out so well. Instead Jess revealed to me that she had actually recently cut up a latex mask into a hood, and did I want to shoot her in her dorm room shower with it? Um, yes please! I used to shoot in bathrooms all the time, it was kind of my thing, so I jumped at that chance.

We both got very wet (I kept my shoes and clothes on though haha) and are both so happy with how this turned out. The only minor post to it is a slight curves adjustment, the blue tone is all in camera and we used my ringflash. We even shot a mini set of it using the hipstamatic app on my iphone that we will use for a fan bonus on zivity :)

This will be a full set on zivity so if you want to see all the sexiest ones (and Jess's butt is looking Amazing in this set) you'll need to be a member!

Clayre McKinnen

Everybody has models that they consider to be their 'wishlist' models. I've been lucky enough to shoot with a few of mine, and Clayre McKinnen was the most recent one. I've admired her for such a long time, she is so tall and so beautiful and as it turns out, even better in real life :D Shes lovely, has an awesome kitty (a rex called Freya) and a house full of art. I can't wait to shoot with her again!

First set we shot involved latex (but of course). Clayre knew of an abandoned building location she wanted to use round the corner from her house so off we went. We shot the set, got back in the car and literally seconds later the police turned up haha, so this was lucky escape number 1!

Next up we went for a walk to shoot some location nudes. It was a really gorgeous summery day and Clayre knew of a stream we could shoot by. After finding a suitable spot she posed away looking all beautiful and free and naked in nature. We decided to wrap up that set, she put her jumper and almost immediately a family with 3 very young children walked around the corner, so lucky escape number 2 haha. That would have been a fun one to explain!

Final set we did we used my new Lensbaby pinhole optic (thank you Lensbaby for sending me that!) and picked out a cute vintage outfit to suit the theme.

Clayre was such a sweetheart that she even gave me a corset and some latex for my wardrobe. We bonded over being amazon women hehe. So thank you Clayre, for not only fulfilling my wishes of being a wonderful model but for going beyond that and being such a beautiful person! Its so great to meet someone you admire and then turn out awesome.

Lovely model and burlesque peformer Lady Wildflower recently launched her own pastie and burlesque accessory company True-Flower Creations and she got me to shoot for them when I visited my home town recently. She posed for the shoot along with fellow burlesque performer Roxy Reveals. The pasties are fabulous and they make custom designs too so I'd more than recommend them to other performers!these adorable Ms Pacman and ghost pasties are my faves :D

My first written article!

Before I discovered photography, writing was my mistress. I wanted to write novels and wrote incessantly whiney poetry at every opportunity. When I discovered the camera I fell out with writing and seemed to develop a pretty permanent writers block, but when Rockstarvanity offered me the chance to write an article for her wonderful art magazine Sublime Rush I couldn't resist!

She gave me free reign to write about whatever I wanted, so I decided I should write about something I love, so fetish it was! lensbaby pinhole.

Most people who follow my work will know I have a tremendous soft spot for my lensbaby composer. I adore it and use it whenever possible. I think its a highly creative and unusual lens and want to use it any way I can. I post in the lensbaby forums and they apparently rather like what I've been doing and emailed me to say they wanted to send me their new pinhole optic after seeing me post on twitter :) so thanks to SeeInANewWay for spotting me! It was amazing

to get a message from a camera company who wanted to send me their product to shoot with, one of the best things to happen to me so far.

I haven't had a 'proper' go of using it on a shoot but I have taken a few quick snaps with it, so here are the results of those. First up is Essjay. We shot this under a street lamp, only editing is colour change.

Second up is a sneaky pic of Lady Wildflower while she was getting changed on our shoot on monday for True Flower Creations (who made the pasties shes wearing in this shot)

So the things I have learnt so far about this pinhole optic.

1. Lots of bright sunshine produces too much 'glow' for what I'd like in terms of using it for portraits. I'd suggest one light source off to one side like what I've used for these two, in the first from directly above, in the second natural light from the model's left.

2. I need to find out my tripod haha, I never use it but I definetly need to use it with the pinhole optic as you need a very long shutter speed/high ISO to use it effectively. The above two shots were about ISO3200, hand held, the first is a .6sec exposure, the second .4

3. Flash does not work with it, it looks like tacky on camera flash if you use it, not in the good way either.

4. I'm already rather in love with it. I love the grain, I love the texture it gives. I cannot wait to use it properly and will be taking it along on my shoot this weekend to shoot epic nudes :)

I was just interview by the lensbabieslove community on deviantart so thought I'd share the interview here along with some of my lensbaby photos :)

How long have you been interested in photography?

About 4 years now. I suffered a spinal injury that meant I had to quit dancing and I needed something creative to fill the void it left, I'd had a mild interest in photography so I decided that was the way to go! I got a little compact SLR and became totally addicted, and then when I turned 21 last year I got my first SLR.

Do you consider yourself a photography hobbyist, enthusiast, or professional?

An enthusiast, I'd like to think I'm a step above amateur in terms of photographic ability but I'm a long way off doing this for my profession, I can dream right? hehe.

What is your favorite subject matter to photograph?

People, its always been people. Generally I focus on women, I find their shapes and forms more pleasing to photograph in my style. Mostly my work is fashion related, but with alternative models. Theres also a lot of fetish, artistic nude and conceptual work, I like to tell stories whenever I can. I also can't resist a cute kitty!

What camera do you use?

I use a Canon EOS 50D with a mixture of lenses, the lensbaby composer, Canon f1.8 50mm and the standard Canon kit zoom lens.

How did you learn about Lensbaby lenses?

Through a photographer called Benedict Campbell. I'd seen them about before and not taken too much notice, writing them off as something for nature photography which I don't really have an interest in, but he uses his for high fashion portraiture and that was it, I had to try it!

What made you decide to buy a Lensbaby?

I wanted to experiment, not many people use them for portraits or fashion work and unfortunately alot of people think they aren't versatile enough to use for them, I disagree and want to show that they are.

What model Lensbaby do you use?

I use a lensbaby composer. I photographed a few weddings last year and used the pay from them to save up and guy camera gear including my lensbaby composer, a flash gun and rayflash ring flash.

What made you decide to chose that model?

It was very new at the time and after discussion on the lensbaby forum it seemed the logical choice, its a bit less 'flexible' than the older models and I wanted something that felt sturdy and easy to use.

What type of Optics and Accessories do you use?

TIll recently I just had the standard composer and its optic, but Lensbaby contacted me recently saying they liked my work with their lens so wanted to send me something to play with :) so I now have the new pinhole optic, can't wait to play with it! Thanks Lensbaby :)

Essjay take 6

As I mentioned in my last blog, I love Essjay. So when she told me she might be able to sneak a lift down to see me with her Mum I jumped at the chance for another shoot, our sixth together :)

We used my holga for the first time, no photos from that yet as I need to get the film developped so fingers crossed that comes out! Then we were super silly and did a shot with a purple wig, big sunglasses and stripping, her first strip set hehe. Its very silly, very simple and cheap looking, awesome :D

We also shot for a lovely jewellery company, In all her finery, who have some fab designs, the compass below being a personal fave. As is the photo, I adore it!

I'm so proud of that shot, I feel its one of my few properly 'fashion' photos :D

Vynx, round III

I love Vynx. Shooting with her is so much fun, shes incredibly sexy and adorable to boot. This is the third time we've worked together and I already can't wait for round 4. Vynx is on zivity so these will all be full sets on there :)

This is from a set called 'Samurai School' which we shot for the zivity cliche contest. We shot it in some woods I'd found that turned out to be a lot more public than I'd realised haha. But Vynx being Vynx she still stripped off.

This is for the zivity Hello kitty contest. Its inspired by a photo of my boyfriend being really daft which you can see in the previous blog hehe.

This set is also for zivity. Vynx wears a cute little chain outfit, stockings, suspenders and a thong, awesome.This set is also for the zivity Hello Kitty contest. Vynx is wearing an adorable outfit lent to us by Suicide Dreams who are amazing.For this set we'd been trying to find an abandoned farm house I'd been told about. We couldn't find it but we did find a little burnt down wooden building that Vynx decided she wanted to pose on. This was literally opposite a Tesco car park haha. And this set gets rather naughty!

Jessica Drue, take 8.

In case you hadn't noticed by now, Jessica Drue is basically my muse. Shes always amazing, so much fun to shoot and well, if your a photographer, you need to shoot her, and if your a model, you need to learn from her! We had a shoot on wednesday night for zivity and the fun new contests they are running.

First thing we shot was a set called 'Naughty Kitty!' for the Hello Kitty contest. Obviously I was gonna shoot for the Hello Kitty contest! I have a huge collection of plushies so decided to get Jess to pose with one, and wear my iamchubbybunny Hello Kitty headband. The Japanese imperial flag was Jess's idea and finished it off nicely. Next up was 'The Moody School Girl' for the My Favourite Cliche contest. I usually avoid cliches, no fairy wings or caution tape for me, but when I saw this contest I decided it was a challenge to shoot something that fitted the theme, but wasn't tacky. Last up was a set that was all Jess's idea for the Dark Side contest called 'Voyeurism'. It wanted moody and sexy, but was open to interpretation. Jess came up with the idea of projecting a film still onto herself, it worked awesomely thanks to the overhead projector in the classroom we were in. She was really brave getting naked for this, we could have gotten in so much trouble! What Digital Camera Magazine

I'm in the new issue of What Digital Camera Magazine, the march 2010 issue :) I was both very pleased and grumpy about it, very pleased because its my first 'normal' publication, and the first time a camera mag has published me, and because they didn't have anything negative to say about the technical side of the photo, and I got £50 of vouchers for Jessops, however I felt the guy was really rude about the model in a way that really didn't seem constructive. He didn't seem to get that it was a fashion shot about latex and he seemed to think I should have covered the model up more, er, no. I think he was a bit grumpy that I said you don't see models like Kinniret in normal fashion, cause you don't!

Paradisaea II

I've been an editing freak these last few days and with having today I've managed to finish editing all the photos from my trip to meet and shoot with the beautiful Paradisaea. In the two sets with the corset and bustle shes wearing a bustle and wrap made by Lovechild Boudoir. Personally I can't believe I haven't seen any burlesque performers in these yet as they are stunning and perfect for stripping out of!

These photosets are all going to be on zivity hopefully some time soon :) theres lots of exclusive goodies including some lingerie, which is a first for Paradisaea and some implieds yay. It was also her first time modelling in latex, lucky me for getting to shoot that!

I'm hoping we'll get to shoot again soon as I had such a great time and Paradisaea is not only totally lovely but also one of the most beautiful people I've ever met. I can be pretty shy but I stayed over at her house and we stayed up till 2 in the morning chatting the day before out shoot hehe!

Black Lotus II

so last night I went on a sort of super editing spree and finished two whole sets of Black Lotus that we shot at the weekend, and they are already live on zivity!

The first set was shot in my parents living room which they have currently stripped down to bare walls, perfect for a naked lady obviously! Black Lotus

I took her somewhere I've shot loads before and she found a totally new part of it to pose in, I love models who do things like that! She got stared at lots by passing cars. quiet, birthdays and photoshoots up North.

I've been quiet for the last week for good reason, my 22nd birthday! It meant a trip back up North to visit my family which was great. Had a meal with my parents friday night, got spoilt rotten with presents including a Holga which I can't wait to use, and a whole ton of Hello Kitty goodness :D my boyfriend even got me a Hello Kitty duvet, thats how much he loves me haha. I also got some more Hello Kitty plushies and two new charms for my Pandora charm bracelet :D

saturday I had a shoot with Black Lotus which was so much fun! We shot three sets and I can't wait to edit them, especially the second. She is such a lovely lady (and I do love to hear a Welsh accent!) even if she did try to rename me Blodwyn :P it of course involved nudity, latex, and me feeding her my Mum's legendary homemade chocolate birthday cake yum yum. This means Black Lotus wants to come back again ;)

Had to drive home yesterday and was very annoyed to discover that my handbrake has broken. Took us an hour to loosen it off so I could drive home and it means its off into the garage tomorrow to get fixed, grrr. Just what I need! Thankfully I've got a weekend off shooting so if it doesn't get fixed straight away its not too much of a worry, though it does make money somewhat of an issue. My birthday money will have to go on fixing it :(
